Marble is a natural metamorphic rock with wide ranging colors and veining. Each slab is unique based on its geological process, and one of the most beautiful stones.  It is strong and resistant to heat, but very porous and susceptible to staining.  Acidic liquids can etch the stone, like vinegar and lemon juice.  Marble requires frequent sealing; however it is easier to repair minor scratches and blemishes.  Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
